A visit to Knights Ferry

We spent sometime in Knights Ferry this weekend. The kids loved being outside despite the heat.

Family Time

We finally got some family time together on Saturday. The kids played outside in the yard with daddy and I. We had a great time. We were lucky we did because Saturday evening I got sick and Sunday it rained hard.

2007 Rodeo Parade Die-hards

Crazy April showers. This last Saturday we braved the rain and attended the rodeo parade with some other parade die-hards. Our friends the Wettenkamps came, Lindsey being 36 weeks pregnant and counting. Annie, Molly, and Natalia had a blast with the Mariachi band being the biggest hit of all. Lezlie (Jackson) Acker came with Evie Mae(6 wks) who managed to sleep through most of it. Maybe she'll catch it next year. We had a great time thanks to good ol' Poppy. He brought the Easy-up shade tent so we were safe from the torrential rains. HEE! HEE!

Rodeo parades can be brutal!

During the parade, Molly tripped and scrapped her sniffer. However, you will all be relieved to know that the sucker she was eating made it through without a scratch. Good save Molly!
